Who we are

Playnent provides software that sports academies use to run their programs. For the information an academy keeps about its athletes, parents and staff, the academy decides what is collected and why, and Playnent processes it on the academy’s behalf. What we collect on this website

When you start a trial: your academy’s name, your name, email address, mobile number and a password, which is stored only as a one-way hash.

When you send an enquiry: your email address and anything else you choose to give, such as your mobile number, city, sports and message.

Where a link carried campaign tags (utm_ parameters), we record them with your signup or enquiry to understand which campaigns work.

Why we use it

To create and run your academy’s account, to sign you in, to write to you about your account (such as your trial ending, invoices and changes to the service), and to reply to enquiries. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

On servers in India (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region). Emails are sent through Amazon SES; online payments through a licensed payment aggregator. Each receives only what it needs for that job.

How long we keep it

For as long as your academy has an account, and afterwards for the period the law requires for invoices and tax records. Enquiries that do not become customers are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. An academy can export its records from the app. Athletes and parents should write to their academy first; we will help the academy respond.
