Cricket academy software built around nets, squads and season fees

A cricket academy juggles more than a timetable. Nets are booked by the lane and the hour, squads change every season, parents want to know why their child sat out, and the season fee arrives in three instalments from three different UPI apps. Playnent keeps all of that in one register the coaches and the office both use.

What gets in the way at a cricket academy

Net lanes double-booked

Four nets, two coaches and a walk-in adult batch fighting over the same Saturday slot. A notebook at the pavilion does not know the turf wicket was given away on the phone.

Season fees in instalments

Most parents pay the season in parts. Knowing who has paid the second instalment, and who has not paid anything since the monsoon break, takes an evening with the bank statement.

Attendance that never reaches parents

Coaches mark attendance on paper at the nets, if at all. A parent finds out about three missed sessions when the child is left out of the squad.

How Playnent handles it

Nets booked as shared lanes

Each net is a resource with its own capacity. Batches take their lanes on the schedule, and a one-off booking cannot land on a lane that is already taken.

Squads and batches by level

Group players into squads by age and level, move them between squads as the season goes on, and keep their history of assessments and promotions.

Fee plans with instalments and reminders

Set the season fee as a plan, raise GST invoices per branch, collect by UPI or record cash, and see every overdue instalment in one list.

Attendance from the coach’s phone

The coach app marks attendance at the nets, even with a weak signal, and an absence can send the parent an email the same day.

Questions cricket academies ask

Can we manage separate nets for bowlers and batters?

Yes. Every net is its own resource, so a bowling lane and a batting lane can be booked separately, by batch or one session at a time.

Do parents need to install an app?

No. Parents get emails and can pay from a UPI link. There is a member app for those who want to see schedules and invoices, and they sign in with a code sent to their email.

We run academies at two grounds. Is that one account?

Yes. Each ground is a branch with its own nets, coaches and invoice series, and you see both together or one at a time.
