Yes. A lane is a resource with a capacity, and a class cannot enrol beyond the places it holds.
Do you call them classes or batches?
For swimming the product says “class” out of the box. You can change the word to whatever your school uses.
Can we run a summer camp separately from term classes?
Yes. A camp is its own program with its own dates, fee and classes, and it does not disturb the term schedule.
